What an eventful first week of baseball! A-Rod finally came through big, the Nationals actually managed to win a game, two sluggers, Adam Dunn and Vlad Guerrero, are tied with two leadoff guys, Jimmy Rollins and Grady Sizemore, for second in the majors in homeruns behind A-Rod, and Rodrigo Lopez looked like Pedro Martinez for the Colorado Rockies.
Our debut Power Rankings for the 2007 baseball season find some teams in some places that we didn't expect, like the Number One Atlanta Braves, as well as some teams exactly where we expected them, like the last place Washington Nationals. We also find some teams likely to be as low as they are going to go, like the 21st place New York Yankees, while some teams are temporarily enjoying success which will prove to be fleeting, like the Number Six Arizona Diamondbacks.
Without further ado, here is the first installment of the 2007 BaseballEvolution.com Power Rankings. Enjoy, and feel free to comment.
